At the ENT Center of New Braunfels, we strive to improve your quality of life. Hearing loss and communication difficulties are a major cause of social and interpersonal discomfort. Thus, we provide a comprehensive range of audiological services dedicated to the detection, prevention and rehabilitation of hearing loss. For those patients with hearing loss, we dispense digital hearing aids from major manufacturers. We also provide a variety of hearing-related products (custom swim plugs, hearing protection, custom ear pieces for cell phones and portable music devices).

Dr. Rast assesses your communication needs and bases her recommendation for amplification (hearing aids) or assistive listening devices on your hearing loss, lifestyle, and communication needs. As there are no “one size fits all” solutions to the rehabilitation of a hearing loss, all recommendations are tailored to you.

For those patients suffering from balance and dizziness disorders, we have added a full-service balance lab. We have the same state-of-the art equipment previously available only in military, hospital, and university settings.

Glenda Rast, Au.D., received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr Rast completed her Doctorate of Audiology degree (Au.D.) through Salus University, George S. Osborne School of Audiology.

Her clinical interests include diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations and the selection and fitting of digital amplification. Dr Rast strives to provide professional, personalized patient care while making the audiological process as simple as possible, tailoring hearing aid recommendations and selection, if needed, to your hearing loss, lifestyle, and communication needs.
